Lending a Helping Hand
The people we serve come from all walks of life. We all experience difficult times in our lives, and sometimes we need a helping hand.
Over 40% of the people we serve are experiencing a very temporary situation and just need a little help to get them through a rough time.

Our dedicated volunteers genuinely love helping people and go out of their way to try to meet the needs of everyone we serve.
We build long-term relationships with friends on the street, guiding them to a relationship with Jesus Christ that will help them to realize their worth and inspire them to invest in their lives.

The most rewarding part is the smiles and expressions of gratitude from those we serve.

Who are we
You B4 Me is an Illinois 501c3 nonprofit corporation that provides support and resources to
individuals and families in need. You B4 Me will do this by partnering with local schools, homeless
shelters, group homes, community leaders, and neighbors to work together to provide resources to
those in need. You B4 Me will work with various social service agencies in Illinois to provide its
charitable works and provide and facilitate aid to all individuals in need. You B4 Me believes they
can eradicate the negative outcomes endured by many homeless or impoverished people, one
resource at a time.

Our Mission
You B4 Me’s mission is to alleviate hunger in Cook County by soliciting, collecting clothing, daily personal items, and prepared food for distribution through a network of service agencies and programs that serve our target homeless population groups. Our services include collecting clothing, hygiene care packages, and food donations and delivering these items directly to homeless shelters, as well as provide opportunities for self-sufficiency.
